On the 6th of February, Eletson Holdings Inc. co-founder and Director, Erric B. Kertsikoff passes away.
 
     
On November 28, 2003 the Company finalized the sale of the m/ts Samothraki, Psara, Halki, Shinoussa to four shipowning companies represented by Prime Marine Management of Athens, Greece. Simultaneously with the sale, the vessels entered into a leaseback transaction with Eletson Chartering Inc. for a period of approximately 5 years. This transaction marks the first time in Eletson’s history where vessels are managed under a bareboat agreement. 
 
     
On April 4th, Eletson Holdings Inc. co-founder and director Gregory B. Hadjieleftheriadis retires and sells his stake to the remaining shareholders.
 
Eletson orders six 52,000 dwt product tankers at Hyundai Mipo, South Korea.

Eletson expands its presence in the Panamax market with the acquisition of 4 tankers built 2004-6 in Daewoo, South Korea and Romania.
